Creating powerful custom designed technology integrated lessons that truly engage students and provide opportunities for creative and rigorous learning takes TIME!
This Workshop is designed to provide participants with both time and technical support as they design custom technology integrated lessons using available online tools. Participants will bring their laptops, curriculum materials, and ideas for integrated lessons they would like to develop. The instructors will be on hand to help teachers choose the best tools to support the lessons, engage students, and stay within the teacher's comfort level.
Unlike traditional courses where instructors provide whole group instruction on a specific program or tool, the Workshop series has no formal whole-group instruction. The instructor facilitates the learning process and provides ideas, support, tools, and encouragement as teachers work independently to design lessons specific to content standards and student needs.
Participants in this workshop should be willing to share lessons completed during this 6 hour session with other participants.
